Xiang Xiang is a Chinese singer who started out recording songs using a microphone and her computer--and that's it. She's one of the most popular singers over there currently, apparently. Anyway, I'm always for more contemporary Chinese music available in the States :)

Opera goes free!
For anyone who hasn't yet heard, the previously adware Opera has now gone completely freeware, and they've launched a whole lot of other things including a blog and photo gallery service on their website. It's a very nice, tabbed browser, so it's worth the couple minutes to download, even if you'll just use it for checking cross-browser ( Read more... ) -
