Clearly (or perhaps, opaquely?), if a board was green, it would then be a greenboard, rather than a blackboard....

Green dots on a purple background, please! shiver_raccoon July 21 2009, 19:41:03 UTC
That depends on whether you're using chalk or markers. Multi-coloured markers on a white board tend to be the easiest to read, I've found.

Hmmm... when will they invent a tag for whiteboards?

When they stop being afraid that we're going to stab them in the face repeatedly for doing so, as we should have done to those who created the HTML tag. :)

Amen to that! shiver_raccoon July 21 2009, 20:49:48 UTC
I'm surprised that I haven't seen blinking text created with a javascript timer and dynamic stylesheets.

blackboards are black.
whiteboards are white.
chalkboards are green.

Your question wasn't what should be used, but what color a "blackboard" is. :)

(although I had trouble choosing between black and grey, 'cause they're more of a dark grey than black. :) )

Oh, certainly; if we're asking what the best option among those three would be, I'd go with whiteboards in a heartbeat. *grins*

I answered Feren-colored, which is black :) but also an amusing answer. ;)
