So due to its boxing skills, the Alien's name has been changed to Punchy. 

I had a dream last night that I travelled to England and bought tons of kosher authentic Chedder and Red Leicester cheese. Man, pregnancy dreams are weird.

-Whole wheat couscous
- Salmon with tangy/smoky sauce
- Steamed broccoli
- Water

Now, that WOULD deserve a "go, me!" in terms of healthy eating, but the fact that I just ate a whole Kit Kat bar beforehand kind of cancels it all out.   

Did I ever mention that I'm obsessed with watching episodes of Good Eats on Youtube? Well, I am.  I've learned so much about cooking and food science that I consider it Internet time well spent. 

It's been FOUR years since I graduated UCLA. Wow.

 I hate writing finals. I also hate grading them. But such is the life of a teacher.

I finally realized that my gurgling stomach is actually just the baby kicking.  Detailed ultrasound tomorrow, yippee!

So now I'm 28.  I know, many of you LJ people out there are older than me, but still, I feel kinda old. I'm just 2 years away from 30! 

It appears that Facebook doesn't work so well on AOL's browser. Oh, well.  It's Internet Explorer for me, then.

I want pizza, NOW.

I just made the most amazing chummus EVER for Shabbat.  Yay.

My life isn't perfect, nor will it ever be.  G-d's always going to be throwing curveballs at us that are custom made for us, so I know that it's not going to be easy most of the time. BUT, I can honestly say that my life now, compared to how it's been for the past 10 years or so, is wonderful. (Largely in part to my great husband, of course.) So ( Read more... )
