So my mom just told me that my grandmother may not live til Thanksgiving. She's not eating and refuses to and she has to go to the hospital. Last time she did this we almost lost her. Now she's telling ym aunt and uncle that she's ready to go home to heaven. What the heck. She's basically killing herself. How the heck does that impact me? I'll tell

Im sooooo sorry...but you have to remember not to give up. If you give in to all of this then alot of people are going to be upset...Im not trying to make you feel guilty, Im just saying, dont give up...

I do not think it id your fault, or anyones at that. Some people just get to the point, especcially older ones, where they do not wish to be alive. Old people have a lot of illnesses and pain so they arn't all that comfortable. My grandmotehr is known to say the same things. It is sad.

Megs, your grandmother isnt doing this to YOU or your family. Yes her choice will affect you but do you really think she wants to die just to make you feel bad and so you can "have even more shit to deal with"? - I personally dont think screwing you over is her motive
