A very big thank you, especially to clonion, marcobiagi, sharpez, gh, grahamecase, kizzalene and last but certainly not least, lordrosemount and everybody else who helped in any way whatsoever. This is just a post to say that, after much deliberation on my own part and even more persuasion from others, I've decided to stand again for DoR. I would like to thank clonion very much for having agreed to nominate me.

I suppose that, even though I personally believe he should go, I hadn't really thought of it as a constitutional crisis. Johnathan Freedland in today's Guardian says that Blair's survival is one, and that it is viewed as such among senior civil servants.

Tonight I went to see Fahrenheit 9/11 with sharpez, and I'd advise anybody who hasn't all ready been to go and see it. The images in it are amazingly powerful, and while Michael Moore is incredibly annoying, he does get across some good points ( Read more... )

I believe that the UK is better off in the EU than out. As, I assume, does Neil Kinnock.
