ohai LJ. I'm continuing to keep myself stupidly busy, but in good ways. Have I mentioned yet how much I freaking love my job? I'm working in a bakery (that's apparently pretty well known in Ottawa and bakes for a tonne of restaurants around here) and I absolutely adore every bit of it: the people, the number of hours I get, the things I get to do. vinyl records for sale
So, I've randomly come into possession of a bunch of old vinyl records from my uncle and though I've kept a good third of them, there's still a whole bunch that are just not my taste. That said, and seeing my money crunch atm, I figured I'd try to sell them rather than toss them ( Read more... ) -

violins and rats
VIP tickets for Emilie Autumn in Montreal on Wednesday, and let me just say it was glorious! Unfortunately, poor Emilie was pretty badly sick with laryngitis but she still gave it her all... which lead to her getting even sicker and having to cancel her Toronto shows (so instead of seeing her again last night, I'll be seeing her in March!)

Went to our favourite Vietnamese restaurant yesterday and my mum wished the server a happy new year, which ended up in him giving us a short lesson about how though the Chinese are celebrating year of the rabbit, the Vietnamese have it as year of the cat. My back has been giving me a mild form of the burning pain that sent me to the ER last year a lot lately. I know it's still from the same injury, and I wonder how I managed to restrain it.
