excitement abounds. ABOUNDS.
january- forgot to mention i got promoted at my day job. i took on another team, & since i refused to give up the team i currently manage (& the hiring rights associated with it), i now own the entire department - 26 direct reports instead of the 14 i had. i'm fancy & important, & negotiated for a pretty decent raise, too.

so i bought a new babby snek! xmas 2014 in los angeles, CA
this write-up is a bit delayed, as i caught lobar pneumonia about a week after this trip, spent a week with a 103°F fever, & wound up in the ER getting IV fluids as it's not possible for a tiny lish to keep up with both eating & the amount of water being burned off by 103°F. i'm still recovering & will probably be coughing into february, but i did ( Read more... ) -
upcoming excitement; a shitton of painting pics; my one true companion; sterility
so i get to hang out with testing4l again, sooner than expected. face to face, one of my top favorite bands, is in concert for THREE CONSECUTIVE NIGHTS in los angeles. they'll be playing their first three albums in full, one per show, plus b-sides & favorites & OMG EXCITEMENT. phil's familiar with f2f, i was able to get the time off work, & we'd wanted to ( Read more... )
