Just went through the lengthy and tedious task of setting most of my LJ to 'Friends Only' for a couple of reasons I wont go into, and henceforth it'll be largely that way.

On a side note it was a real eye-opener to read my old posts from 4 years+ back. So much of that stuff I'd forgotten, and maybe for the better! I did a lot. Feels truly bizarre ( Read more... )

Tonight I've been trawling around on LJ communities and I kinda think LJ is way better than facebook, etc, in so many ways. Pity that so many people dropped it like a hot potato, I suppose FB just works better for most people who don't have anything more to say for themselves than one-line of bullshit or clicking the 'Like' button.
