A friend of mine is asking for some help understanding phenomenology. I've done some quick looking around, but I'd like to know if there are any quick and readily available reads on the topic that aren't Wikipedia-quick and available but aren't like entire books unto themselves. Any recommended essays/readings?

hello,
need to write a qualification project on Author Stylistics (on the example of an American and English representative of emotive prose, in my case - Fitzgerald and Murdoch). If you could give me any advice on sources of information, I would be very grateful.

There was an author, maybe a Romantic or Transcendentalist, who was big into revering the child, seeing the child as more enlightened than jaded adults. Can anyone tell me the name of the author, or the movement itself? I cannot for the life of me remember, and my random googling isn't helping any.
