Pushing towards the doors to Barnes and Noble amidst excited crowds and idiot drivers who'd scream obscenities at us from their cars, was more difficult than expected. But, I managed to get through, and what a sight! In a rare act of graciousness, my mother actually bought me a three-disc set of Andrew Lloyd Webber songs! Shocking, to say the least. Now, I can belt out to “Don’t Cry For Me Argentina” and “Jesus Christ Superstar” in the privacy of my own car!

Stupid CW. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. The CW announced its fall lineup and no veronica mars. Gilmore Girls just ended last week and after this week, my two favorite shows are gone...These two shows portrayed young teenage girls as smart and strong and funny, and proved that not all teen girls are the nymphomaniacal airheads like on other tv shows. gah ( Read more... )

So i survived my first week of college.  It was daunting, to say the least.
