It's bizarre not to have a thosand things to do a day. I still am teaching five days a week and bartending 3 days, but I actually have some free time. I have also been jogging an hour a day for the last two months. I hope to be in shape to run the marathon next year. Hopefully, I dont get a stress fracture like last year from running too much. I like dead end signs. I think they're kind. At least they have the decency to let you know when you're going nowhere.

So the one thing I have found that I'm finally passionate about has left me with my arms entirely bruised. The Japenese girl in my Poetry class asked me If I was embarrassed and then told me I should wear long sleeves. However, these bruises have only made me more impetuous. When you're young, your whole life is about the pursuit of fun. then you grow up and learn to be cautious. You could break a bone or a heart. you look before you leap and sometimes you dont leap at all because theres not always someone there to catch you. and, in life theres no safety net. when did it stop being fun and start being scary?
