How is it that absolutely nothing else is deemed newsworthy on days when BIG shit happens?

Finally done with exams, and it feels so fucking good to be able to do whatever the fuck I want, relatively speaking. I still have 75% of my finals remaining, and they're the hardest ones. I'm teetering right at about 89% in two of three classes. However, I can't shake this feeling that the semester is already over.

In retrospect, "wasn't" is not that weird of a contraction. At least not when you compare it to "won't."

Think about it. You're combining "will" and "not," so you just jumble all the letters about, take a few out, and then stick an apostrophe in there somewhere? What the fuck?

Okay, this paper I've just started is due in 12 1/4 hours. It's okay. I don't like sleep.

Was that convincing for you? Because it sure as fuck wasn't for me.

Ughhh . . . I can sort of think straight again, and find myself actually able to remember what program I'm watching on TV during the commercial breaks. Good signs. Time to start working on my paper again. Fuck. The last month of the semester always blows.

So I'm taking this medicine that makes me cry constantly (in an eye-watering way, not in an emotional way), and now I look like a raccoon, or like somebody just kicked my ass. It's great fun.

I hate it when I wake up at three in the morning, and that's my night's sleep. I also hate being sick, which I am, severely. But what I hate most of all, is whiners.

This week is turning out way better than last. The mood in the house has vastly improved, a potential roommate has been found who I think would work out great, songwriting and practice is superb, and the semester is even closer to being over. Thank god, because I felt like I was on the edge last week, and I really can't even say why. Back to my ( Read more... )
