Funny isn't it? I've actually been trying to grow my hair out, over the summer I went into my normal place to get a trim, sadly I found out that my stylist isn't there anymore. So I got some girl, fresh out of school, who, it seemed, really didn't want to mess with my hair. I asked her to just trim some of the split ends as I'm trying to grow it out. She took off nearly 3 inches!!!! I was so very unhappy with her. Ugh.
But the last time I had long hair, it was long, like nearly small of my back long, and mine is so damn thick that when I cut off 11 inches, all at once... zomg, it was so weird. My head just felt so light, like I didn't have my hair constantly pulling my head back and chin up. It took a long time to get used to not having the weight of it back there.
aww you're a pretty girl so I bet you could go with any length...but I TOTALLY understand...I think I prefer my hair bra-strap length (as it is now) but last time I cut it it was shoulder length...it was cute but I'm much more comfortable now.
I will not be hibernating at all :) However, my hair will be styled in an up-do with lots of curls hanging down ;) (which was actually the hair style I was already planning to do, so not so bad) :D

ahahahahahahahah :)
I remembered this morning that 9-10 years ago, I thought that when I turned 30 would be a good time to try shorter shoulder length hair. I figured by then, it wouldn't be quite as upsetting... I'm just a few days early is all :)
Actually, now that I've gotten past the intitial.. hey!/venting, it's not so bad. As I said.. part of me is excited. I'm always too chicken to just out right ask for a shorter hair cut, so getting one anyways is a good way to try it out ;)
In all honesty, I doubt anyone with short hair would actually call my hair short. It's just a lot shorter thanmy definition of long ;)
