i find it very hard to get any work done when the cafe has the radio set to the one channel in prescott that plays non-stop 80s dance tracks. all i want to do is jump around, and it makes it hard to focus on memorizing the parts of plant cells.

i love prescott.

i like being in california. i get to go on hikes every day with the dog, and not pay rent, and there's always something interesting happening. the only downside is that all my friends here have jobs and school and whatnot, that keeps them all too busy. but i guess that's okay, cuz then i'll get more work done. but i am kind of lonely.

so i am kind of excited now because there are all these articles on cnn about how clinton probably won't win and should just drop out, etc. I really want obama to win. really both of them would probably do a good job, but i feel so much more confident in obama's ability to represent people, not corporations. anyway, that just made me feel good ( Read more... )

i am a major dork. and that's ok.

i sent an email to geekologie because i saw an article on the bbc about a man who dressed up as darth vader and beat someone up, and it sounded like just their kinda thing. and they posted it! and thanked ME!

i know. that is sad, to get all excited about something like that? but there you go.

so i am at the coffee shop right now. and there is a group of six older women wearing age-inappropriate sparkly clothes and talking about the times they died. i guess this must be a support group for people who have had out-of-body near death experiences, because what are the chances that every single one of six friends would have died and floated ( Read more... )

i have no idea what the article is about, and i don't want to know, because it might ruin the magic. and may i just say that i adore the bbc.

the bunny died. i am so sad. he was doing so well, eating lots of food, jumping around, and being warm. what the hell? how can people do everything right, and still we can't keep a wild animal alive? i can't even imagine what we did wrong. unless maybe baby bunnies actually need a momma bunny to live. maybe momma bunnies have some special life- ( Read more... )
