I've been such a terrible journal buddy. I've been trying to read along, but with SIL in town, I'm finding it difficult to even do that. She's heading out of town for a side trip for a day, so hopefully I'll be able to catch up a little bit ( Read more... )

Happy 1 month birthday! Gosh, I can't believe it has already been that long.

Awesome that you didn't have to throw out your milk. OMG....700 ounces??? That is rock star status! I thought I was a stud having 250 ounces and that was after 11 weeks of pumping during maternity leave. I just figured it up and you have pumped and froze on average 22.5 ounces A DAY.

I can't believe it's been a month either. With Caroline, I never thought I'd live to see the 4th week. It's so much easier this time around, and therefore going SO much faster.

Yeah, it's crazy. Lefty is a superboob. I don't expect it to stay that way forever, so I'm reaping the bennies while I can.

Thanks! It sure has.

I know, it's insane. It's almost embarrassing and undignified. I feel like Elcy the cow. That's just one boob, for crying out loud!

It is so frustrating that something so "natural" can be so difficult. ugh. Glad you're still hanging in there. And I can't believe you got an email from Dr. Jack Newman!:D

I know, it never has and never will be "natural" for me, i guess. I will say even with all the setbacks I have had this time, it's still been easier and more enjoyable than the last. Knowing what i know now, I'm pretty sure I had thrush with Caroline too which is why it was always so painful to nurse. I'm kind of pissed no one ever noticed it (I had been in to see the LC and my OB on several occasions). Who knows, things could have been much different with her.

I know...I fear we may have to buy a 2nd freezer before I go back to work. It's getting out of control. We're boxing up and burying a large box (roughly 200 ounces) a week.

I can't wait for you to see them. She's already changing so much. getting so chunky!

Good news about the stash! That would have seriously sucked! I remember when I had a plugged duct warm compress felt fab - can't wait to see the aquarium pics.

I know, I almost cried from happiness when I read his email.

I couldn't believe how quickly the plugged duct came on. I was fine Saturday night and woke up Sunday morning with it. Ouch.
