A second try at the poll posted earlier (a few issues with the first one!?!). If you took the first version, it would be cool if you could take this one too, but don't worry -- we'll consider the first version's results too ( Read more... )

The last option makes me wish I had a camera on my cell phone.

But...

I can already easily post text and/or photo messages from my phone, I just e-mail them in. It works fine!

I suspect that not all services provide SMS<->Email gateways, though I don't know...

For what it's worth, the sidekick has an email client on it. That's what I currently use when I'm not at my computer - post by email! It was really cool to use during a convention I went to. The one thing I really wanted was the ability to post pictures from the phone to LJ, and I haven't read up to find out if pictures I include in an email will actually post.

The sidekick's web client does not like the javascript. Posting by email is about the only option, since many of the menus are now java based (bleh)

Hmm, I do most of my browsing (including LiveJournal) with JavaScript firmly switched off in Mozilla. I lose a couple of bells and whistles, but generally it works fine and I get to avoid the various JavaScript bugs that keep cropping up.

Sure - mozilla/firefox does just fine. I use firefox normally.

The sidekick doesn't use mozilla though. :) It's a home-built web app by Danger. Or at least a heavily modified one.

Ditto. I post photos and entries via e-mail on a Sidekick.

fyi, esmerel, the next OTA update for the Sidekick is supposed to include some javascript! woo hoo.
