I made another pilgrimage to Massachusetts this weekend - Boston on Friday and Saturday, and Amherst yesterday. Last night Sarah, her boyfriend, her friend Miranda and I got pho and ice cream, and this morning Kate took me to Miss Florence's Cafe in Florence. I spent two hours watching music videos on the internet today because I didn't want to write my final paper.

Okay, on one hand, I believe that our country is basically beyond repair regardless of who the president is. We will still be fundamentally sexist, capitalist, racist, etc. etc.

On the other hand, I mean, THANK GOD.

Over Yom Kippur, I had a whole week of school off for various reasons, so I decided to go to Amherst and Boston. I drove up to Amherst on Tuesday, left my car there, took the train to Boston on Thursday, took the train back on Sunday, drove home the same day. Yesterday, Aaron, Natalie and I drove down to Ithaca to go to the Moosewood Restaurant and explore some waterfalls. I just cried during an episode of "Gossip Girl" and wrote the first thing I've liked since the introduction to my senior portfolio. I feel like these two events were somehow connected.

Apparently my apartment is next door to a fledgling rock band.
