I am now a Substance Abuse Counselor at Tri-County Mental Health for the SEPTA Correctional facility!!! :)

My poppy is on his way out, and this is the most miserable I have been in a very long time. If you didn't know, my grandparents live like two blocks from my parents, so they were a huge part of my childhood, and I always visit them whenever I come back to Berea. my life is pretty much the best.

I'm generally busy

and sometimes worried or anxious about finances,

but I have an amazing hubby

and an amazing family
and amazing in-laws to be
a beautiful home
and amazing pets

and our life is great :)

I hate moving. I wish I could just magically get everything over here and THEN organize and/or decide what needs to be donated.

I have too much crap. I wish I watched hoarders so that I would NOT keep crap.

Man. You think after the $12,400 I put as a down payment on my house and the $2000 closing costs I'd be done with spending money on the house (except the obvious stuff like mortgage payments), but NOOOOO. I want to make my birth control permanent, but I'm not sure my insurance would cover getting my tubes tied at my age. I'm looking at Essure. I know I don't want babies and that Nick doesn't either, but I know his mom would freak out knowing that we've taken permanent/semi-permanent measures to make sure we don't get pregnant this early in the game ( Read more... )

my poor poppy had several strokes. I saw him last night and he was doing okay, tired but was speaking okay and everything. He had another, worse one either last night or this morning and today he can't talk right.
