Good bye bank - Hello new JOB!
I have just got home. Last day at the bank. I am feeling a little funny. Im glad to have gone, and really stoked to have a new job. But still the worries start to creep in. Well we are home safe! If not tremendously exhausted! Not really alot richer either... Oh well it was an experience. Glad to be home and in my own bed though. Puppy did ok, but I think he was the happiest to be home out of all of us ( Read more... ) -
Festival Tomorrow, and Saturday AND Sunday....
So we have been planning it for months now... and finally its here. The Medieval Festival up in Berwick Victoria. I mean I am glad we are going, I hope we make a lot of money! But camping??? Just not too sure about it.

First Shift!
I did my first shift as a crisis counselor today. Wow that was invigorating/challenging/sad/uplifting/annoying/frustrating... you name it I felt it. Overall though, I felt good that I was able to be there. I was an ear, that would listen and empathize. My trainers, said I did well, so I feel confident about going back and doing it again. I have spent the last 4 days using all my free time (eating into my LJ time) to complete my Resume, and also my cover letter and the key selection criteria. THANK THE GODS ITS DONE!! New Job Prospects!!
I have just spent the day at my training coarse for a volunteer group to help people in crisis. Whilst there one of the other lovely lady's who is currently training with me, spotted a Job advertisement on the notice board. She ran over to me very excited, as she knows this is just the type of job I am looking for.

So today was Melbourne Cup day... Big Deal!!
I still had to work. I put $2 into a sweep and Im not even sure which horse won, or which one I was backing! I did however get suckered into getting lunch organised for work.
