1.) All of this is because EUGENE SUCKS. There is NO city life here, and therefore no reason to make anything happen. Jesus, we don't even have a real starbucks. It's a starbucks/quiznos. HA!
2.) I'm totally an accrost person! I catch myself every time I say it and I'm like, "Who do I think I am? That's not even a word."
I totally agree with that whole k-12 mentality....i can't wait for summer and to go frolicking away from this place clicking my heels as i go.....4 MORE WEEKENDS KEVIN! Then "School's out for the summer!"........love ya kid.....oh and ps....you still have my cell phone charger you little theif you ; - )
I HATE ACROST! So many people here say it, and it makes me want to size them body bags.
I think the whole going home for summer is different for everyone, because like...well, look at me for example. Leaving college means leaving independence and freedom, because at home my parents are in charge and I have to take care of the kids all the time. I have to leave a gorgeous apartment and private room to live out of two suitcases (that's all I'm bringing home) and sleep on the couch for four months. And the man I've been with for the entire school year (in some way or another) and I will have to end. So yeah, coming home doesn't sound thrilling to me. I'm excited for some things, like seeing friends, but I'm not going to deny that I'm heartbroken about other things.
Anyway, I'm glad you're excited to go home, and we better hang out, so I will have fun and not be sad. :-) And vice versa, I wanna hang with you 'cuz you're hot.
Filthy naked old people. I have no idea why we are doing this. I'm going, for sure. But still, as if old people clothed aren't gross enough. Haha. And I don't think of you as a college was amazing people, don't worry.

PS - I know that I'm one of those "college was amazing!!!" people, but, yes, there are definitely lows experienced by everyone in college.
