The mirror angers. It reflects all that we put toward it. Don't look at the mirror unless you want it to look at you. Look away, shatter it, or embrace it. If you look away, you will be constantly running. If you break it, you will always be fighting. But if you embrace it, it will vanish to the dust that it came from.

nope, I had a conversation with a buddhist monk guy. Any way, what im trying to say is that hatred is a reflection of what we dislike about ourselves and that the only way to stop hateing is begin the loveing. that sounded pretty bad. meh. Its true though. Hatred breads hatred which leads to more hatred and on and on. and if you run away from the hatred it will still be there. meh. I've never beleived that force can defeat force. look at the bullshit going on in Iraq. The americans can never "win".

at the moment, I can not think of a single person I could honestly say I hate. I gave up hateing people a long time ago. I found that when I was hateing somone I gave them to much power over me.

Interesting post conversation... Hmm..

I hate the mirror. Mostly because I'm pretty sure I see an altered image. It's the reason I love taking pictures and observing people through video and with my own eyes.

I think that those things reveal more than a mirror. I always look different in those things than in the mirror in the morning, and yet I'm still a slave to it. I stare at myself in it and try and make myself presentable everymoring. I stand on the tub to get a full body look, and yet it's still not the same.

I often wish I could look through someone elses eyes and see me instead of seeing myself in a mirror. Do you ever feel that way?

I think they're one in the same, personally.
