And I am shamelessly asking for more in this universe because I am a complete angst whore!
I need to know whats happens next, eg: does George find out about the fragile state of the Mandellbell relationship from Nick and determine to break them up to get Peter for himself, will Alastair head for a complete breakdown if he sees Peter with George, and is Nick feeling guilty for what he almost got Alastair to do or does he now find he is actually attracted to him now he knows how damaged the man is.

What George lacked in cunning he made up for in childish pig-headedness, and it was in this spirit that he called Peter just after noon. "Hi," he began, only a little stiffly; "it's me. I know last night didn't quite go according to plan -"
"Not your plan, perhaps," Peter sniffed. "I was quite satisfied ( ... )

George caught Peter's arm, desperately guiding him back to his seat. "Don't go," he pleaded. "We can talk about whatever you like, Peter. Don't you ever just want to do things differently?" He smiled cheekily - in a way that made him look pretty sinister - and raised a dark eyebrow.
With a sigh, Peter picked up his coffee again and blew on it thoughtfully. "Okay," he murmured. "I'll stay for a little while."
"Why only a little while? Stay all day. It's not like you've got anywhere to go any more." George suppressed a guffaw.
"I've got a house to run and mail to answer," Peter replied icilly. "So don't waste time, George. You've got me all to yourself, just as you wanted. Let's talk."

"I know that!" groaned Alastair, sticking his head round the living room door into the hall to make sure Peter was out of earshot. "But I haven't told him yet, have I? It's... hard..."
Nick was baffled. "What the hell are you thinking?" he demanded. "Why don't you just tell him?"
"I mean, I'd sound so... silly," Alastair explained, ashamed. "After that big fight we had in front of you, acting like it didn't matter to me - just letting you slip away would be pathetic."
That word again. Nick clenched his teeth. "Get over yourself," he snapped. "What you did in letting me go was sensible and noble. The only thing that's pathetic is not being able to admit it to Peter! How old are you, seventeen? Grown men shouldn't need to lie about their sex lives ( ... )

Thank you author anon- this fill is everything I could have imagined and more.
Love it all- The dis-functional dynamic of the Mandelbell relationship- so intense and broken, the bordering around a break down Alastair with a vulnerable side deep in there that makes you want to cry, the good/evil sides of George knowing he should leave Peter alone and knowing he is not going to manage it, and the unexpected but so real George/Nick friendship, and Nick angsting about whats he seen of Alastair and somehow attracted/repelled at the same time-
I don't know if I have ever liked a fic more (feel bad for wanting Mandelbell to break up and Alastair to disintegrate- but also so good)!
Am so waiting impatiently for more!!!
