Owww, my body is sore. Specially my lower half. All this damn running. Monday did 4 miles of running, came in 5th in my platoon and then today we did a 2 to 3 mile last man up run, which at the end we did a 200 meter dash; I burnt what little energy I had left to take 1rst. The 9 days of leave moved quickly and now it is over. Alas, I had spent several days packing my room; since my family is planning on moving. That was a fucking a bore and nightmare. My biggest fear is living a boring un-fufilled life in a 9 to 5 job and coming home to were I will try to fufill my wishes for adventure and a life beyond my own, in playing games and in watching movies. I would hate to live such a life, games and anime have filled me with a wish for adventure. Nothing would please me more then to find a purpose ( Read more... )

I really wish my enlistment was over. Alas it is not and not for another 2 years. God knows I am sick of people and it is going to blow in Iraq. I recall vividly of how I didn't wish death and ill will on people till 3/4 into Afghanistan.
