The best part of my line of study is that I'm probably going to get at least  a paper on comparative regional folk beliefs out of my current suffering.

Plus my advisor will be completely into it as he once volunteered to undergo zombification in a controlled settin'.

He still smells funny some days.

That last part was a joke, he was just catatonic

Any chance he might REALLY have managed zombification? Just for research purposes, of course.

No, no, just the traditional kind where you get doped up with poison that leaves you nearly catatonic and suggestive and then buried for a few days. He just skipped the buried alive part so didn't get all shambling and drooly.

Hey, when you're recovered from the attack of felines, do you think you could spare an hour or two to chat? Things are afoot at the Circle K, as a couple of quotable, lovable dorks would say, and you might be able to at least offer coherent advice, if not outright help.

I can make some time soon; mind, if I wait to be fully convalescent I'll never talk to anybody again ever, the way things are going, so it'll be sooner rather than later unless something completely unexpected comes up.

And as a rabbit just tried to trip me going down the stairs, I expect -anything- now.
