Below is the response from TB. Its quite long but can be summed up in the frase "Fuck you I will do whatever I want." What is the point in having a petition system if you arn't going to take any notice of it and do it anyway.

Right then the below is an online sign up for a petition to the goverment to scrap the proposed id card thing. I know of a few people on my F-list who are against it for various reasons so if you have 30 secs and dont want to waist time in the future getting iris and fingerprint scans for a new id card follow the link and sign up.
