Trying to stay awake until 7 am and then sleep until 3 pm is proving more difficult than I had planned, mostly in the "sleep til 3" department. Partially from noise (good god to people bang shit around in the neighboring places and in the back alley starting around 10 am) and partially from not being used to sleeping anywhere near that late. Apparently being depressed about not getting that last job was premature! I have been called up as the person with experience has apparently dropped out or something. It is only a three-week contract, but that's better than nothing. I go in for some training on Tuesday.

I may have just had a dream in which Barack Obama, Buggy the Clown and a bear teamed up and used evil demonic spirits to battle an evil fascist empire on an alternate earth. Oh yeah, and I think they saved a little girl, too.

And some people wonder where my creative ideas come from.

I can't believe porn just made me lose the game.

1. Finding out I'm not qualified for a job halfway through tailoring my resume to apply for it.
2. Trying to apply for a job in the career section on a website, only to have it redirect me a different job in another city.

On the plus side! The arrival of my GST rebate today was a literal godsend!
