I can say it now as it setting in. The night I was on the train from virginia to nyc the last night of spring break Dov called me at 10pm or so to tell me Hannah had died and he wanted me to know before I came in the door at 3am.  Old age.

It is sort of setting into me finally I think.

The house is quiet dragonless.......

An early riser I am.
Since 5am maybe not sure.
I always awake, and look at the sunrise.
Every day of my life since even I was a baby.

I can't imagine people who just can't bring themselves awake to watch the sunrise.

They missing out on the start of the world.

As I sit here looking at 4 1/2 lbs of multicolored dry lizard kibble in it's container it comes to mind: 'hunny, that isn't breakfast cereal'. It hasn't happened yet but it could. At moment the huge bag is in freezer killing any unwanted guests that can occur in dry animal kibble. But I wonder....what would it taste like in a bowl of soymilk??? ( Read more... )

I am now mentoring.
I was 'asked' to do it. (more like 'I want you to mentor')
Still teaching my full caseload run of 12 schools with 5-7 of them every day, no car, rain,sleet,snow.
It's ALOT of work to do in addition to my day's routine.
