yesterday seems noteworthy for the simple pleasures i had:

• while waiting for the train, i noticed two tiny mice scampering around on the train tracks. i watched the until the train arrived and i made mouse noises at them.
• i found a small deli near my building with delicious falafels and hummus. mmm.

update: i drew faces on the balloons and now it's not quite so dismal.

it's sort of eerie arriving after a party is over. everyone has gone home and only remnants of the night are left: lonely balloons, bits of food on the floor, and a large wine red stain on the carpet. and me, i guess.

at least there is leftover food.

i broke the piggy bank and ordered a nikon d100 and 1gb ibm microdrive! i can't wait for it to arive! expect many images in the near future.
