I spent most of the morning practically smothered under a pile of books at the library. Well, my employers at the university want me to come in on Monday for a bit of a training session, apparently, and so I can know a little more about the labs and what sort of equipment they will be dealing with. Well, ah... I was accepted as a research assistant for the physics students... So I guess that is a good thing. It gives me something to look forward to, anyway.

Well, I called the university, and it seems they have a few positions available... Though none of them sound particularly favorable, at least it is a start. The physics department is always willing to take on research assistants, but the stipend is... well, not much. Still, it would be a start.
