Time for one more bit of academic dickwaving: I got my scholarship.

$20,000/year, tax-free, to do any PhD I want. And I'm allowed to earn a bit on top of that as well (probably tutoring). This will allow me to stop working on the weekends at the same time as it triples my income.

Not bad at all.

I've been accepted into both PhD's that I applied for; I've got until late February to make up my mind. Psychopharmacology is in the lead at the moment, but that's probably going to swing back to History & Philosophy of Science at least once before February. I just got me a letter from the History & Philosophy of Science department at my uni, informing me that they'd decided to accept my PhD application. Apparently I have until February to decide whether or not I'm going to do it.

I wonder how long until the Psychology one shows up...

which is a grade of Honours: H1

...AKA First Class Honours, which should pretty much guarantee me ~$60,000 worth of scholarship money over the next three years. Quite content.
