In the environment I was raised in, it seems like kids were primed to think about careers, not jobs, from an early age. We were always asked, "What do you want to BE when you grow up?", not "What job do you want to have?" Last Day
Saying goodbye to work folks is always kind of awkward...especially when there's so many of them, and they're all asking "So, what are you doing?" (It's the new "So, what do you do?"!) Must Have Good Sense of Humor
Another thing that aggravates me in job postings is when "good sense of humor" is listed as a requirement. You'll see this in almost every job posting for the non-profit sector, but something like "good sense of humor" belongs NOWHERE NEAR objective measures like a BA or proficiency in Photoshop.
