I also love the nod to eye contact which is something Damon and Elena have always had going for them, ever since their first meeting at the Salvatore Boarding House.

Interesting stuff with the eye contact exercise. I can't help but think that von Gruber would be able to tell that Elena wasn't thinking of anything... I wonder why he's singling them out.. if he suspects something, or... hmm... anyways, looking forward to your next chapter, as always.

Wonderful :) This chapter had everything. The opening scene was incredibly hot, and just brimming with sexual tension. I think Damon now has a slightly better understanding of what's going on in Elena's head, so even though things are still far from resolved between them, they're gradually getting there.

The eye contact exercise was amazing, I could totally feel the intensity. Eye contact's a really odd thing, because you make eye contact with people all the time without even thinking about it, but then when you become aware of it it can be so intense, especially with certain people, and I think you really reflected that.

I really liked this:

Elena didn't know which was worse; walking around with a blindfold on, and trying not to fall over, or this intense eye contact session with Damon.Von Gruber was as creepy as ever. I'm very intrigued about the fact that Damon and Elena have been set a different exercise to everyone else. I'm looking forward to seeing Damon and Elena tackle their exercise, and I'm really looking forward to

I wanna sit and stare into Damon's fantastic blue eyes. I'm a big believer in the supernatural like guardian angels and such, so I firmly believe that the eyes are the window to your soul so that scene you wrote literally gave me chills <3

Your note for Katherine had me totally curious. I'm thinking that maybe she's another one of Von Gruber's "patients" or *gasp* what if she's WITH Von Gruber. That would blow my mind. Actually I'm assuming anything you do with her will blow my mind. I'm very curious.

I think Von Gruber knows something is up with Damon and Elena, but I think he's thinking he just needs to work that much harder on them. I am so excited for the one-on-one session. Things are going to get very intense.

Amazing chapter, as always. You seriously hit every single one out of the park.
