Played another game in this league last night. A chaotic start to the evening as I thought it would be a home match and turned up at the club. This was a bit of a discovery. A group of us had a great time there Friday night. The venue is a called EGG and is up York Way from King's Cross. It reminded me immediately of the Moritz Bastei, due to the open air courtyard which is reached by steps from the three floors of the buildings. Nice and clean (unlike Slimelight)and great music. After several pints in the Pickerel a group of us went to the Kambar. I think it was called Alternation. Indie rock but a nice atmosphere and a new discovery if I get bored ever. Spent the evening chatting about philosophy and crime. Also, I believe myself to be smitten by a certain young woman. *sighs* That's not like me :¬)

An amusing incident here the other day, just at the corner where the tennis courts are, by the riverside pub. A group of punt vendors were teasing some drunks who were fishing on the far side of the river. Something about having a permit. I've had a brilliant weekend! Tenebrae was a discovery and on my schedule now. Then, Saturday, met up with naranek and L. at the Dev. R. had arranged to meet with Mike so the three of us spent time drinking, talking and shopping at Camden Market before the gig at Slimelight.
