I hear there was some fuss concerning one of the new transfers. It's probably not a good thing that I still don't know exactly what happened, but at the very least my computers seem to be behaving again. At any rate, the archives seem to be intact, and that's what counts.

Has anyone else encountered difficulty when attempting to access data concerning the energy output relating to the helm control systems? This is the first time I've been back down in engineering since the refit, and it seems as though the computer system is going haywire. I don't see why everyone's so upset about these tribbles. They're awfully sweet, and incredibly cuddly. I think they're rather nice. I'd forgotten how much I dislike being on active duty. There's a reason I'm a historian, not a technician.
I was assigned to keep an eye on the power pull from the impulse controls, and I swear I looked down at my PADD for one second and Mr. Scott gets on my case about it.
At least I don't have to do that again for another week or so.
