Still, there's a lot to complement on, and she even - unasked, most likely - brought along an assortment of cookies for the occasion. Are they edible? With certain guidance she did keep to a sane matter of recipes at least -- at the most, she only got creative with the cookie cutters, involving various geometric shapes and sizes. They're quite harmless and hopefully somewhat tasty otherwise -- some are ordinary chocolate chip, sugar, and of course the majority being lemon. A carefully planned assortment.

"Really? I'm glad that you liked them." She worked so hard to make sure that they were edible. No one needed to know about all of those failed batches, after all.
