Well, if they end up in the same dropzone, Cheyenne will probably stay relatively close by to watch out for him (although mostly to make sure she doesn't eat his soul along with the third-party :|;;). And if he does the same, he's probably going to get quite a few good reasons to run over. She's likely going to be stabbed a lot. : D;

Plans, plans, oh plans

So, anyone want to do some major strategic planning?

I've done some chatting with Pi, Trap, and Masa for what some of the strategists would be setting up. (There will be a lucetilocked post later today discussing this ICly, but we can smooth out details here.)

Albert plans for four groups with objectives:

Shifters hunting group
Strategist: Shikamaru
Approx. max volunteers: 10
Objective: Hunt out and eliminate Shifters who have planted themselves near farmland/livestock to remove the protective Shifts on them.
Details: Our own little specialized assassination group. This is a fast-moving, well-coordinated team with the specific task of proactively engaging multiple Shifters. Multiple Shifters have the ability to combine neutralization Shifts, so this team needs to be entirely ready fight Shifters and regular soldiers without both supernatural powers and technological devices.

Clearing group
Strategist: Caesar
Approx. max volunteers: 15
Objective: Take hold of and establish means to protect livestock/farmland areas from repeated

...You know given that the approx Frey-team we're collecting above (because he's the leader) looks like it's going to have a mecha, a street fighter, a fairie, a couple of other people they might fit in well enough to the Shifter hunting party or that clearing one if the other people can get behind this. I'm jut not sure who the hell would volunteer them for that.

Yeahhhh, I agree this might be best. Frey will definitely want to contact Shikimaru (if he doesn't contact them in the post) to discuss their tactics/abilities/setup and perhaps just drag them all together for a pre battle meeting IDEK he'd just want them all to be aware of stuff before going out.

Tl;dr: dude how do we want to do this. I have ideas but talk to me guys.

Well as I've noted, Masaomi might be charming and insane and protective, but so long as he's got everyone he's valuing in one group, he is still a vassal so he'll just roll with whatever. Larger strategy doesn't matter that much to him right now because, well. He doesn't care beyond this group keeping around and beating in skulls.

SO THE CHOICE FOR HIM IS ALL YOU LEADER.

Okay, I'm seriously on the fence about this because it's Bad in every possible way and would cause me to offset some plans I've had for at LEAST a month or so. Wibbling hard, I'll confirm one way or another by tonight.

However if anyone wanted to plot one way or another assuming I DID send Xion, feel free to hit me up. 8| in terms of the handicap it'd be the blindness or the flu-like symptoms, prrrobably the latter.

Aaaaasuming other people don't end up scooping her up (and chances are someone will) if Xion shows up Masaomi will... hover a little like a deranged older brother who happens to get vicious head wounds and beat people's skulls in and try to recruit her into the absurd rag-tag group we're collecting above.

I'm so very on the fence about this. IIIIT REALLY DEPENDS on a few things. Much like last time I don't have specific thoughts with her. I need to figure out some things like what weapons she'd have access to, plus what magic (because I've been handwaving some training).

What I think she'd WANT to do and what she'd be best at (considering the handicap) would be defending the noncombatants. Out in the field she's likely to be a big liability. Where'll Kida's group be, mainly?

ps she'll be one of the few people NOT freaked out by Kida's violence. :| in fact she'll kind of expect it... be disturbed, but expect it.

Given the current group is made up of such a varied bunch of mostly competent fighters, sadly, I think they're mostly going to be involved with either taking out or securing taken out areas from the Shifters (respectively the hunting and clearing groups detailed above). SO. ...that might not work out.

Plotting with Rydia and Terra can go here!

Rydia will be doing her best to avoid the hell out of magic-negating opponents, since her usefulness is limited should she encounter one. She will be sticking with Kain at all times, but can otherwise be flexible about who they fight alongside. (As long as it's not Valvalis or Yuber, obvs.)

Terra will probably be with Adell, but I'm open to her working with Golbez as well?

I'm all for Terra teaming up with Golbez. If Triad wants, they can both help out Adell.
