Ceodore's strength is that he's flexible. He's a decent fighter and a decent healer/support mage. But he can change up on the fly and is capable with a range of weapons including bows and spears. (Meaning he should be able to pick off the Shifters from a distance, even if he won't have access to magic.)

I have Kain, Vincent, and Shadow all going and all available for anything! Kain is looking to try and beat his 1/3 survival rate... CAN HE DO IT!?!? CAN HE ACTUALLY LEAVE YUBER ALONE!?

Ability-wise, they're all experienced fighters, able to function well enough if magic is disabled. Kain will mostly be shoving Rydia into the row beyond the back row and taking the brunt of the defense for them... Shadow is an assassin so killing as swiftly as possible is his usual plan... and then Vincent will be shooting things, and probably won't transform this time, we'll see.

If anyone would like to team up or plan something, let me know. :D

Rydia won't protest his need to defend her, but Yuber sighting = Warp spell. Sorry, Kain, that's just the way it is.

Also, Shadow is welcome to join Terra and Adell.

That sounds like a plan. XD Rydia = VERRRY SMART. She knows by now that Kain has no resistance when it comes to his crazy impulse to attack the demon. He needs someone to just separate him from the crazy.

And yay, Shadow might have to do that at some point or other. Hahahaha... I part considered killing him off so he can have that fun too, but we'll see! >.>

Actually, kind of an urgent question: Can the shifters make objects go "poof"? I mean, Son Goku's diadem is an object but since it was created by divine powers it could count more as a magical item than a mere accessory so... I need to know if it can just go and vanish if he faces any shifters -because then the powers being dampened would be the less of his problems-.

But when I asked about Homura's sword, I got told that either the blade could vanish or become normal metal. I'd assume the same would apply to the diadem?

One thing that's important to note is that Yue can have big white wings in addition to his filial wings (and will, in battle) and so looks... rather similar to a member of the Third Party. And he would rather not be taken down by friendly fire, so, uh, should probably introduce himself to the other combatants before the fighting starts.

He specializes in distance attacks (arrows and flinging ice crystals of doom) and would really rather be defending the noncombatants than making a frontal assault or anything. And if he runs into a Shifter and his power is suppressed I think he'd stand a fairly good chance of turning back into Yukito. :|a

As mentioned here, Lightning will be turning Cie'th at some point in the battle- I think I'll go ahead and say Monday or Tuesday ICly? Hopefully that works for people who are willing to get in on being attacked/taking her down.

A post where she and Aerith try one last time to seal the Brand (and fail awfully) will be going up shortly, too. If anyone's got any interest in learning a little more about what's going to happen beforehand, that might be the place to do it! :D

I said ICly since... I'm not really sure when the log for fighting will go up- there's usually a "settling in at the dorms" post first. ^^;; This will happen as soon as I can manage after an actual fighting post happens, which I assume will be about Monday-ish anyway.
