Or how my weekend was spent gardening. My friend and neighbour is having her garden landscaped and patio’ed so she asked us if we wanted some of her plants out of her garden. Yesterday was a lovely bright spring day so I decided to go into town to buy a belated birthday present for my friends’ little boy. As we entered Aberdeen the sun shone on the granite making it sparkle so prettily you could be forgiven for thinking that you had gone into a different city than the usual gun metal grey that the buildings give off.

Found out yesterday that my boy Doug Stanhope will be playing at The Caves in Edinburgh tomorrow. The tix are all sold out because its such a small venue and although I could contact him or Brian Hennigan about getting me on the guest list it all sounds far too stalkerish ( Read more... )

It was supposed to be a week of helping Fay to do some DIY which ended up with me decorating her guest bedroom while Bill put up a curtain rail. Why do men always take so long to do things?
