I'm reminded of what I am loosing every morning as I look into the mirror. Although, everyday, it just seems to get harder and be worse. I thought it was meant to get easier as time goes by, and I begin to accept the fact that I am loosing my best friend. But, that is anything but the truth. It doesn't get easier, whoever says that is lying. It does get easier to cope though, slowly and gradually.

You amaze me, Lucinda. You're such an incredibly strong person, and no one should have to have the youth that you had (or didn't have, you had to grow up way too fast). And people are strong because they recognise their weaknesses, and cope with it.

You love your Mum and that's what matters most right now. That's what she still has and what she will always have.

Another thing that really, really matters is to love yourself. Look after yourself, sweetie.

You are possibly one of the remaining few who know me from that far back. It's kinda odd, isn't it?

I appreciate your kind words. I hope that I do as much for my Mum as anyone my age would. She did so much for me, I only hope in these times that what I try and do for her makes up for that.
