90's movies aside, I find myself bored, alone and trapped at home today (my van is broken). Anyone up to keep me company this afternoon? We could watch a movie, play scrabble, or color a coloring book! I know its short notice but , go go internet! -

Last call for a ride for me
Just dropping another reminder that I am in need of a ride this Wednesday the 21st. I have an appointment for a EGD at 12:45, and they plan on sedating me so I need a ride. The procedure is expected to last for 2 hours. At the very least I would ask for a ride from the procedure to my apartment, I don't expect anyone to just sit around for 2 ( Read more... ) -

Doctors suck! And I need a ride pt2
So, after securing a ride to my EGD for Monday and everything being kosher, I get a call from the doctors office. Long story short, I no longer have an appointment for Monday the 19th, *instead* I have one for Wednesday the 21st @ 12:45. I learned two things today
1) The gel used for an ultrasound is heated to what feels above body tempurature.
2) A full abdominal ultrasound takes 30 minutes

Well a little bit of my faith just died.
Today the Supreme Court with a 5-4 ruling took the first step in removing the 4th amendment.
