firstly, thank you for the long and thoughtful response! those are always the best comments and i love that you did that even though you don't know me.
here is my response to what you've said:
-i think pale skin is gorgeous, and brown is the color of poop!
-i WANT people's heads to turn, thinking that i'm skinny. sick thoughts, maybe, but the truth.
-as for being smart, i do think that i'm not too ditzy (all the time) which i'm thankful for. but meh, i'm an average girl!

1. You are funny. Brown is also the color of Mother Earth who gives us all things beautiful
2. I'm sure you already turn heads everywhere you go. I already know what a beautiful face you have to consummate your extraordinary figure.
3. As I have no firm evidence, I'll accept above average - for now...

I struggle with my weight obviously as well. I need to be skinnier-I need to be special at one thing at least.
I think I know what you mean.
During my teenage and university years I had only one thing which made me more special than all the rest - I could control my hunger and didn't need to eat. So I spend those years as an anorexic. Being a guy it was not at all about being thin or pretty or caring about my weight, it was just about being able to be in control of something the others were not and therefore feeling less inferior. What a waste but at that time it helped me to survive.

Being just a stranger gives it not more weight, but I completely agree with your parents. I think you need to learn to accept that your parents didn't just play nice by saying you are an exceptional gorgeous woman. Although prettiness lays in the subjective eyes of the observer, beauty does not as it is based on an objective formula. And beautiful you are without any doubt.
