The top story this morning is New Orleans' preparation for Mardi Gras. I am so glad that they are able to hold it this year. The area really needs that.  They say that over the whole country, Americans have donated about 1 billion in money and other kinds of aid, like food and blankets. Wow. I feel really, really, really lousy. Miserable? No, that is too strong a word. Just really down.

I'm heading off to the gym to study cognitive and raise my endorphins, because this is rotten.
