I got a concussion again, this time due to an accidental backhand to the chin during a friendly ulitimate friz game last saturday. I was marking a friend and counting at the same time, and then in the middle of counting, with my mouth wide open, he threw the disc and hit me on the chin with his follow through. Another thing that pisses me off about some teachers that I have encountered is their complete lack of faith in their students abilities. Like today when I told the kids that they had to copy english from the animal cards onto their bingo sheets, the teacher of 三年生一組 told me that it would be impossible for them. Just like Friday, today there are no students at school. This is because some kids (20 or so) have the flu, and therefore the entire school has been closed... The teachers are either making themselves coffee, chatting to their neighbours or pretending to work, all whilst wearing surgical masks.
