I realise my last post was in August. I meant to post before now, but it was usually as I was falling asleep that I remembered the fact.
So yeah, the MSc has sucked me in completely. I am loving it, (and have passed my assignments so far!!) but it has completely knackered me and unless people have been standing in front of me, they've completely ( Read more... ) -

I seem to have spent the last three weeks in a whirlwind.
I finished applying for the MSc, and then I took advantage of the dog-free house to paint all the furniture (okay several pieces, but they all needed undercoats as well) and rearranged everything that had been in the furniture because the piles of mess that were left behind were doing my head in. 1. How is it April already? I've no idea. Anyway, I signed up for campnano this month with the goal of 20000 of an original thing I don't think is ever going to see the light of day but I'm enjoying writing anyway, and I'm doing okay with it.

Let’s Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson. I whizzed through the rest of the book and loved it just as much as the first part. I love Lawson's writing, and her ability to make the truly heartbreaking readable without descending into outright misery. That said, I'm pretty ( Read more... ) -
