last last year riphertoshreds and i decided to go to america. initially we were aiming for may, but a few circumstances changed and we've now decided on october and are trying to rope kellyos into coming.

i don't think either of us can wait. i just know i'm going to love it and it's going to be everything i imagined.

my grandmother had a massive stroke friday morning. we were told she probably wouldn't make it through the weekend. now it looks like she'll be home, albeit paralysed on her left side, in a couple of weeks.

she's amazing.

recently i've been thinking that i don't challenge myself enough.

i'm watching rachel getting married with a bottle of wine.

there's something about this movie that gets me every time. i'm never quite sure what it is.

ah the weekend.

the last four weeks have been...weird. i've been happy, but my sleep pattern has gone to the dogs and so come 9:30 at night, my mind starts going crazy and i've been stressing about stupid stuff and inventing things and generally bumming myself out over nothing.

later this week i'm interviewing fenriz from darkthrone aka a huge deal in scandinavian black metal history.
