Ok, so the background story is this: for a really long time, Orange has been in drought. It has been so bad that more than once, my parents have had to buy water and sell their stock. All of this = bad.

First thing's first: Vincent was a name Mary and Andrew both liked. Eriks is a Latvian name [Andrew is half Latvian] and I think, the name he used to call his grandfather, Bennetts is Andrews surname, which Mary didn't take when they got married, and Gardiner is our surname. I am pleased to announce that Mary and Andrew’s baby was born this afternoon at 4:07pm.

His name is Vincent Eriks and mother and baby are both doing well, if not a little tired.

i got 60 days notice to move out of my flat.

that's pretty uncool.

my parents just delivered me a new lounge...

no word on whether my now not new housemate wants to hunt with me or do his own thing.

i am not getting angry at 2010 yet.

however, i really do need some good news soon, or a lot of chocolate and peanut butter icecream.

being a bachelor hasn't changed much so far as i can tell except...no-one, i repeat NO-ONE but me eats my freaking food. do you know how good it feels to come home knowing i have food?

friday i am scrubbing EVERYTHING, and getting the place into pristine condition. just the way i always wanted it.
