i like yer critique of desperate housewifes, mate. i already thought that the so-called strong female characters were clearly a mans view of what modern suburban housewifes should be like - i.e. well drawn stereotypes. Your theory just advances nicely along this line.

This isn't to say that I don't dig DH in a tasty big mac Dallas for the 21st century kind of way - the first series in particular was highly entertainlng.
