It seems like summer is over, weather-wise, and I'm soooo glad. Cool nights, temperatures inside the flat around 20 degrees (and not 30), and when there is sun, you don't have to hide from it! You can move outside without sweating and feeling exhausted, you can be outside at noon and won't get burned. I so much appreciate that.

It's soon 2 a.m. and I'm still packing...preparing for Switzerland is not easy, we'll be staying in a village 1200 m above sea level; temperatures will definitely be lower but how much? The changing from summer- to wintertime has very obvious effects on my/our everyday life: We have not changed the rhythm of the kids, ie when they went to bed at 8pm they now do at 7pm and it's amazing what difference this one hour makes. IKEA is inspriring. I went there today in order to buy Milla's and Elena's birthday-present, an IKEA-mini-kitchen which looks as good as the big ones. But I also found that IKEA also has good(-looking) solutions for any issue concerning where to put your stuff.
