Still alllliiiiive!
I'm back! I managed to beat down whatever weird and uncomfortable crud I was fighting off last week, and I even got better in time to go to a fun Halloween party on Saturday. I made peanut butter ball-eyeballs, which were super fun, and also a big hit, there were none left over ( Read more... ) -
Feeling weird
The last few days I've been feeling off. Just generally feeling weird, tired, shaky, a little achy here, a bit of allergies there... possibly some heartburn/acid reflux? And I've been feeling really fat. (I know, that's weird to say) I'm just not myself... and it's bothering me.

Poor Phi
Phi is a sick bear this week. Strep brought on by tonsillitis. He sounds like muppet, and has been drinking lots of hot tea, thera-flu, ginger ale, and gatorade and eating soup. He also stole the last half of my strawberry popsicle last night.... Okay, I offered it to him, but he snatched that thing so fast, I was worried for my fingers ( Read more... ) -
Brain...drain
First exam of the semester down... One more to go this afternoon at 3:00pm...
The first test nearly wiped me out. Hopefully I can make it through the second one. -
Lost and Found
Today started out disastrously. I went outside this morning to bring in the foster dog... and she was gone. I thought maybe she was hiding under a bush, or behind a tree, or in the dog house, but no, she was gone, gone, gone ( Read more... ) -
New Foster Dog
We got our latest foster dog yesterday. Her name is "Missy" and she is a 35 lb "Collie X Terrier". She's really cute. But... (big but)... she is unsocialized. Really, really unsocialized. She won't even drink water or stand up if we are watching her. She hides behind trees if she's outside or in her kennel (or in the pantry! if you can't stop her) ( Read more... )
