Annnd, I was right. All my health problems got worse and worse (joint pain, nerve pain on the left side, hysterical crying, high anxiety, back pain, digestive issues etc.) and then spontaneously resolved this morning with the arrival of my period. The snow hasn't melted at all from our last blizzard and a new one is starting. We're set to get 10-12 inches and the flakes outside right now are 2 inches wide. I kid you not. I've never seen such incredibly large flakes. They look fake. And scary ( Read more... )

Another mother at daycare described the exact moment when her daughter stopped hovering near her in public and began hiding in store clothing racks and running wildly away as "losing her invisible leash." So I was distraught about finishing everything by tomorrow, when Dustin pointed out I wrote the wrong Wednesday on my calendar. The week after tomorrow is the Wednesday before the first Friday in February. What?! I gained a full week to work! Better than finding $20 n my pocket I didn't know about two days ago. So I have a virus that is out to destroy me. I went to the doctor thinking it was strep because I can't eat anything other than smoothies and chicken soup, but apparently this is just going around and I should take an Advil.
